Is It Real?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u015aLOKA 45<br>The universe ends at mah\u0101pralaya, when time, form and space dissolve in God \u015aiva, only to be created again in the next cosmic cycle. We call it relatively real to distinguish it from the unchanging Reality. Aum Nama\u1e25 \u015aiv\u0101ya.<br><br>BH\u0100SHYA<br>This universe, and indeed all of existence, is m\u0101y\u0101, \u015aiva\u2019s mir\u00adific energy. While God is absolutely real, His em\u00adanated world is relatively real. Being relatively real does not mean the universe is illusory or nonexistent, but that it is im\u00adpermanent and subject to change. It is an error to say that the universe is mere illusion, for it is entirely real when ex\u00adpe\u00adr\u00adienced in or\u00addin\u00adary con\u00adsciousness, and its existence is required to lead us to God. The universe is born, evolves and dissolves in cycles much as the seasons come and go through the year. These cycles are in\u00ad\u00adconceivably im\u00admense, ending in mah\u0101pralaya when the un\u00adi\u00ad\u00ad\u00adverse un\u00addergoes dissolution. All three worlds, including time and space, dissolve in God \u015aiva. This is His ultimate grace\u2014the evolution of all souls is per\u00adfect and complete as they lose in\u00addividuality and re\u00adturn to Him. Then God \u015aiva exists alone in His three per\u00adfec\u00adtions until He again issues forth creation. The Ved\u00adas state, \u201cTruly, God is One; there can be no second. He alone governs these worlds with His powers. He stands facing beings.
