Para\u015biva is the fullness of everything, the absence of nothing. Aum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BH\u0100SHYA<br>Para\u015biva, the Self God, must be realized to be known, does not exist, yet seems to exist; yet existence itself and all states of mind, being and experiential patterns could not exist but for this ul\u00adtimate reality of God. Such is the great mystery that yog\u012bs, \u1e5bishis, saints and sages have re\u00ada\u00adl\u00adized through the ages. To discover Para\u015biva, the yog\u012b pen\u00adetrates deep into contemplation. As thoughts arise in his mind, mental concepts of the world or of the God he seeks, he silently repeats, \u201cNeti, neti\u2014it is not this; it is not that.\u201d His quieted consciousness ex\u00adpands into Sat\u00adchid\u0101nanda. He is ev\u00adery\u00adwhere, permeating all form in this blissful state. He re\u00admembers his goal, which lies be\u00adyond bliss, and holds firmly to \u201cNeti, neti\u2014this is not that for which I seek.\u201d Through pr\u0101\u1e47\u0101y\u0101ma, through man\u00ad\u00adtra, through tan\u00adtra, wielding an indom\u00aditable will, the last forces of form, time and space subside, as the yog\u012b, deep in nirvikalpa sam\u0101dhi, merges into Para\u015biva. The Vedas explain, \u201cSelf-resplendent, form\u00adless, un\u00ad\u00adori\u00adgin\u00ad\u00ad\u00adated and pure, that all-pervading being is both with\u00adin and without.
