All of life is religion. Thus, \u015aaivite art is sacred art, \u015aaivite music is devotional music, and the \u015aaivite\u2019s business is not only his livelihood, it is his service to man and God. Aum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BH\u0100SHYA<br>Each \u015aaivite is unique in his or her quest, yet all seek the same things in life: to be happy and secure, loved and ap\u00ad\u00adpreciated, creative and useful. \u015aaivism has an established culture which fulfills these es\u00adsential human wants and helps us understand the world and our place in it. To all devotees it gives guidance in the qualities of character so necessary in spiritual life: patience, compassion, broadmindedness, hum\u00ad\u00adility, industriousness and de\u00advo\u00adtion. \u015aai\u00advism centers around the home and the temple. Mon\u00adastic life is its core and its power. Family life is strong and precious. \u015aaivism possesses a wealth of art and ar\u00adchi\u00adtecture, traditions of music, art, drama and dance, and a treasury of philosophy and scholarship. \u015aaivite tem\u00adples provide wor\u00adship services daily. Scriptures give ethical guidelines. Satgurus offer ad\u00advanced spir\u00aditual initiation. These three\u2014temples, scriptures and sat\u00ad\u00adgurus\u2014are our pillars of faith. The Vedas implore, \u201cO learned people, may we with our ears listen to what is beneficial, may we see with our eyes what is beneficial.
