Pluralistic theists hold that world and souls persist in seed form and will later reemerge. Aum Nama\u1e25 \u015aiv\u0101ya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BH\u0100SHYA<br>Pluralistic Siddh\u0101ntins contend that after mah\u0101pralaya\u2014the withdrawal of time, form and space into \u015aiva\u2014souls and world are so close to \u015aiva that, for all practical purposes, He alone exists. Actually, they say, both world and souls continue to exist, not as things, but as \u201cpotentialities.\u201d As if in a deep sleep, souls, now in a bodiless state, rest. Individual karmas lie dormant to germinate later when creation again issues forth and nonliberated souls are re-embodied to continue their spiritual journey. Monistic Siddh\u0101ntins believe that souls persist through the lesser pralayas of the cosmic cycle, but hold that only \u015aiva exists following mah\u0101pralaya. There is no \u201cother,\u201d no separate souls, no separate world. The universe and all souls are absorbed in \u015aiva. P\u0101\u015ba\u2014\u0101\u1e47ava, karma and m\u0101y\u0101\u2014is annihilated. In the intensity of pre-dissolution, when time itself is accelerated, all souls attain complete maturation, losing separateness through fulfilled merger with \u015aiva. Yea, j\u012bva becomes \u015aiva. The Vedas boldly decree, \u201cBy His divine power He holds dominion over all the worlds.
