Aum Nama\u1e25 \u015aiv\u0101ya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BH\u0100SHYA<br>On the lips of \u015aaivites throughout the world resounds the proclamation \u201cGod \u015aiva is Immanent Love and Transcendent Reality.\u201d It is a statement of fact, a summation of truth, even more potent when intoned in one\u2019s native language. \u201cGod \u015aiva is Immanent Love and Transcendent Reality,\u201d we repeat prior to sleep. \u201cGod \u015aiva is Immanent Love and Transcendent Reality,\u201d we say upon awakening as we recall the transcendent knowledge gained from the \u1e5bishis during sleep. These sacred words we say as we bathe to prepare to face the day, God \u015aiva\u2019s day, reminding ourselves that His immanent love protects us, guides us, lifting our mind into the arena of useful thoughts and keeping us from harm\u2019s way. Devotees write this affirmation 1,008 times as a sahasra lekhana s\u0101dhana. It may be spoken 108 times daily in any language before initiation into Nama\u1e25 \u015aiv\u0101ya. Yea, the recitation of this affirmation draws devotees into \u015aiva consciousness. The Tirumantiram says, \u201cThe ignorant prate that love and \u015aiva are two.
